The Arena Wide Dressage Saddle is engineered for horses with broader, flatter withers — a tree width that is frequently underserved in the premium saddle market. The wide tree disperses weight evenly across the horse's back, eliminating the pinching and restriction that causes resistance, hollowing, and shortened stride in wider-backed horses.
The deep, squared seat places the rider in the optimal balanced position for collected work — directly over the horse's centre of gravity, with equal weight through both seat bones. The long, straight flap supports the extended leg position required for dressage, allowing full, unrestricted hip flexion through rising trot, sitting trot, and extended paces.
Constructed from premium full-grain leather that softens and molds to horse and rider over time. The panel construction allows for professional wool-flocking adjustment to fine-tune fit as your horse's muscle condition changes seasonally. All stitching is hand-finished and inspected before dispatch.
