The scalloped lace-effect edge sits cleanly at the base of the bonnet without bulk, and the crystal pearl trim runs along the browband area — the position that reads cleanly from the judge's distance and from the gallery.
The crystal detail is set into the bonnet rather than glued, which maintains its appearance through consistent use, rain, and washing that would degrade adhesive-set stones. Absolutely beautiful ear bonnet. I bought the soft brown for my bay and the crystal trim photographs beautifully at shows. The crochet quality is excellent — it hasn't stretched or distorted through several washes. The crystal pearls are set properly, not glued, so nothing has come loose. Very happy.
Gorgeous bonnet. I ordered the golden yellow for my palomino and it looks incredible in the arena. The crystal trim catches the light exactly right. Fits perfectly over a full-sized warmblood head. The crochet breathes well — my mare doesn't shake her head in it, which is always a good sign.
Really nice bonnet for the price. The crystal trim is genuinely pretty and the crochet construction is better quality than I expected. I have the black version and it suits my dark horse perfectly. Washes well and holds its shape. The pony size fits my smaller horse accurately.
