We had a brutal wet winter and this rug handled every bit of it. My mare stayed completely dry through multiple days of solid rain and the fill kept her warm without sweating. The 1200D shell has held up with zero tearing despite some fence rubbing. Outstanding value.
In Irish weather, a rug that doesn't hold up to rain is useless. This one is genuinely waterproof — not water resistant, waterproof. My gelding has been in it through several Atlantic storms and comes in dry every time. The fit is correct and the leg straps are easy to use.
Good heavy-duty rug for a Canadian winter. My horse stayed warm and dry through temperatures well below zero. The 6'3" fits my Warmblood cross well. Only minor note is the leg straps could be slightly longer, but overall very pleased with the quality for the price.
